No Reason Yet Given

Turn the faucet,
The blade does it all,
Kisses so primative,
Watch her chest rise and fall.
Take her protection,
Her eyelids, her sense,
Become her solid ground,
Through all the pretense.
Close off the world outside,
As you closed off her mind,
Whisper sweet-nothings,
With reasons undefined.
The struggle is nearing;
Can you really go through?
End off her heartbeat,
As you intend to do?
She wrote her own epitaph,
She signed her own warrent.
Never did it seem,
You'd become so abhorrent.
So finish the job then,
'Do her' and leave.
Give her no warning,
No reason to grieve.
But she knows you'll hurt her,
She knows deep down.
She understands your intent,
You'll leave her to drown.
Yet by the time she realises,
The point to which she's been driven,
She'll succumb to desire,
With no reasons yet given.
